311 - Band Tickets
311 is returning to Nebraska in 2017 as part of their Unity Tour. This time, they are playing at Lincoln in the Streets on June 30 with special guests New Politics and The Skints.
Nick Hexum, S.A. Martinez, Tim Mahoney, Chad Sexton, and P-Nut formed 311 in Omaha, Nebraska in 1988. 311 played many local gigs at the infamous Ranch Bowl, and released a few records from their own label, before moving to Los Angeles and signing with Capricorn Records in 1991. 311's unique reggae/rap-metal fusion sound helped transition their regional popularity into national recognition with key albums; Music (1992), and Grassroots (1993). Their self-titled 311 album (1995), became the turning point in their career with hit songs “All Mixed Up” and “Down”, making 311 Tickets some of the hottest on the market. In 2004, 311 released a Greatest Hits album, which included a reggae-inspired cover of the Cure’s “Love Song,” which had originally been included on the soundtrack to Adam Sandler’s movie, “50 First Dates.” If you want to get down “Omaha Stylee,” secure your 311 Concert Tickets through Ticket Express for any of their tour stops.
